Me and my Truck

Today I ventured out in my truck and got me a job. My older brother Matt interned at a local radio station last summer and they liked him so much that they hired him. He only worked a few hours a week and he managed to present me with a job opening. I went down to the station and said my name and shook a few hands and the next thing I know I have a job. I will be broadcasting the football games for a small high school here in Cedar Rapids Iowa. I will work every Friday night from 7 to about 10 PM till the end of football season. I am a little nervous as everyone probably is when starting a new job but I know I will have fun because I can kinda do what ever I want as long as I don't miss my cues. Wish me luck with this new and exciting experience!!

Only an Aunt!

My sister Katie had her baby on the Friday the 13th of August. His name is Duane

Owen Gorrell. He's

8.5lbs and

21in long. I now have 7 nieces and nephews with one more to be added in October or November. Being an aunt is great!
